About the EP-*
According to various Indian schools of philosophy, tattvas (Sanskrit: तत्त्व) are the elements or aspects of reality that constitute human experience. In some traditions, they are conceived as an aspect of deity. Although the number of tattvas varies depending on the philosophical school, together they are thought to form the basis of all our experience.

Liberation is a fusion of psychedelic downtempo hips and hops
whereby its soundscape provides a source of freedom for
the mind to become still while driving rhythms, melodies and bass guide us along this frequency meditation into the realm of cosmic bliss.

Inspired by spiritual and philosophical teachings from around the world but especially
yogically, Liberation was a feeling that had arisen from the desire to fuse multiple interests over the course of a track. Having ventured first into the realm of psychedelics years back and then through many other avenues, it only made sense to organically find a way back to the source.
Initially, the project began as an experiment to see if this alchemy was possible.
Finally having found this sense of 'release' from having to produce one kind of sound
and box it so to speak, 4 tracks were honed and cultivated in order to
allow its natural unfolding into the material world.

Mouna is a Sanskrit word that means “silence.”

In the context of yoga, it's the practice of not speaking,
which heightens the other senses. When verbal communication ends,
the yogi is better able to observe the world around him/her without
the distraction of conversation and, ultimately, turn his/her reflection inward.

As a sadhana, or discipline, mouna strengthens willpower and self-control. Mouna can be observed for a short period of time on a daily basis or for longer periods of days at a time for more advanced yogis.

Swami Prabodhananda Saraswati calls mouna a “fast for the mind.” Just as a fast from eating cleanses the body, mouna clears the mind and frees mental energy.
By eliminating conversation, the yogi can focus on inner communication and self-investigation.

Historical Indian texts also reveal that Absolute Reality (or Brahman) is beyond the human capacity for speaking and thinking. Silence is the only way to understand this concept and eventually feel at one with the universe.

Physical mouna, then, transitions to inner silence, or antar mouna. This antar mouna calms an overactive mind and promotes mindfulness and spiritual growth, which allows the yogi to reach a state of self-awareness and union with the higher Self.

“Thou art that” is one of the important mahavakyas (great sayings) of the Upanishads. Know that you are That.
Be silent and find such inner knowledge for yourself.
In that silence, realize your true nature.
There are no words to describe it.
