Lesser Sparrow is the musical project of Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Stanford. A former vocalist and guitarist in indie-rock band Modern Merchant, Jesse snapped a four-year writing drought with a massive creative breakthrough during the 2020 quarantine. As the world was thrust into lockdown and uncertainty, Jesse turned to family to find solace and inspiration for his most reflective work to date.
