Raised on music, is exactly the answer for anyone to give, if they were asked of his days growing up. Basically, the only description to give when referring to the beginning of who would begin to become to so many as the ”L.E.T.H.A.L MC.” Fascinated with beats, melodies, videos, at a very young age he was most impressed with the art of lyrics. He would know all of the words to BET’s Top 100!

Big fan of Yo! MTV Raps & other hip-hop shows profiling the artists in the 80‘s & 90‘s, L.E.T.H.A.L MC understood at the age of 6 years old, that he possessed a skill that was common with the artists he admired. Always a seeker of understanding events that took place in the past, he credits his growth only to that. In school, he would amaze his teachers and peers with his artistic ability of writing. It came like using an arm to him, in fact, he had his own unique style of writing, one that would be the one troubling factor to his teachers. He now understands why.

At the age of 13, upon moving from his birthplace Decatur, Ill to Dallas, TX, L.E.T.H.A.L MC began to write rap lyrics. All thru time in grade school, he’d written poetry, which would signaturize his style, and his favorite, short stories. He had never attempted this form of writing and steadily progressed in style, subjects, & thru different monikers(stage names), always one to find his particular space. But really only in the realm of writing or performing for the garnered pleasures of family & friends, forming a personality in his music. Not until 2008, after personal life setbacks, did he really begin his actual “coming forth,” upon forming a bond with DFW’s veteran artist Alize Ali(hit song 2008, “This Sh*t Right Here,” also 1st artist to release a 5-disk album, garnering popular appeal by Tommy Quon, Vanilla Ice’s manager), whom he entails was the “Drake before I heard of Drake,” is also whom he credits to helping to shape his personality presence in music. It was with this union that L.E.T.H.A.L MC would begin to “taste the air” of the industry, firsthand, which began to shape and mold his dream. He would that same year, adorn the emblem “Rebell Tryybe,” also the co-name of his incubating multi-layered label “Rebell Tryybe Entertainment.” He would go on to create many songs, performing at venues around Dallas & around Texas. With a precise, poetic, lyrical, edgy, futuristic versatile style, he compiled many “jaw dropping” songs and features. His 1st unofficial mixtape single, 2008’s “Warning”!, sent a shockwave around Dallas, amongst talent showcases, studios, special venues and CD players alike. Whether it was on CD, MP3, or the actual show, L.E.T.H.A.L MC would never fail to attract people with a style often said “unheard before.” Likened to everyone from Nas, to Ice-T, or to Papoose, his style is most definitely unforgettable. With a “raw-to-the-point” “uncompromised” talent, no matter what you thought you were hearing, you would find its deep spiritual references embedded within his bars. A gift few possesses. LE.T.H.A.L MC would only leave everyone who heard him for years in suspense, wondering when…

  “My life is Rebell Tryybe! In my world, it’s the idea that fit’s the times. It will definitely catch on when the people see what’s real. No manner the style, if it’s real, people will embrace it, and it doesn’t have to be forced. People will look and see and know that, that’s what they want or need, and that’s what I’m here for. I’m here to give the ultimatum, towards something “deeper than rap,” so right now, I gotta speak. And I don’t desire for people to listen, I want people to see…”

Certain personas often come thru the “world of music” and leave a carbon print on the earth that is felt forever.
