True authority does not rise from within; it is given from above (Romans 8:16). He draws the doctrinal line using Hebrews 4:12: The Word divides the soul (nafshā – נַפְשָׁא) from the spirit (rūḥā – רוּחָא).

✅ It is biblically sound to call your spirit to rise—to take its rightful seat with Christ (Ephesians 2:6). But this must be done in submission, not self-governed autonomy. When we try to lead our own spirit or divine through it, we bypass the voice of the Holy Spirit—opening demonic access points.
