I wanted to create a mix that embraces the Sunday mood. Rough and weird enough to keep you going, but still smooth enough to stop you from shying away. It’s deep, it’s funky, it’s sentimental. I decided to stay 
close to the roots of jazz while flirting with the type of stuff I usually play at nightclubs. There’s real classics and brand new stuff in there. From Helsinki with love. <3” That’s how @dj_jvs_0 describes the mix.

🍇 The wine for this month is Nittnaus' Kalk & Schiefer Weiss! 🍇

Nittnaus’ Kalk & Schiefer comes from Austrias limestone and slate soil, which also gives the wine its name. A wonderful blend of Weissburgunder and Grüner Veltliner, the organically cultivated grapes are hand picked and 20% of them are given a short skin contact. Six months in oak, no fining, no filtration, and minimal sulphites added during bottling.

She loves to explore different styles, jumping between different decades and tempos. From cumbia, italo, disco or house, through her selection she transmits tons of energy to the dance floor.

We're stoked to be hosting this mix from the Montreal based artist, as she seamlessly takes us through a percussive trip spanning downtempo joints, deep rolling breaks, techy wiggles and tranced out techno cuts. It's a colourful sound palette that reflects both Sophie's strengths as a producer, DJ and label head, with her influences spanning a broad range of sonic textures.
