Today’s FREE MUSIC MONDAY is from the Jacking duo from Birmingham; Cause & Affect. Following their forward-thinking, bass-heavy EP on Claude Von Stroke’s ‘Dirtybird' label, the pair are back with their second EP, entitled “Operation 60”, this time on London’s 'Bullet Train Records'. They have kindly given us ‘Ridonkulous' to share with you today, another infusion of tech house and swinging baselines that will literally make you want to go mental on your nearest dance floor! #greatmusicforabettercause is all about artists who live and breathe music. And to get the ball rolling, who better to announce than Darius Syrossian as the man to do just that.

This album is all about a unique group of artists coming together and sharing their amazing music to raise money for great causes such as Macmillan and The Teenage Cancer Trust. All the profits from the sale of Melted ONE will be donated to both charities!

“Forward thinking music, without prejudice” is the motto Tribal sessions lives by and is exactly what Melted ONE stands for. Every artist who has contributed to Melted ONE brings there own flavour to the album and Darius has shown just this with his track Halcyon. Darius is bringing party vibes with this tune, proving that his skills and tastes are vast and wide. Our latest release is from one Tech House’s rising stars. The standard of labels he’s released on is already impressive (Soma, Toolroom, Suara, Viva, Knee Deep In Sound) and by the beginning of 2016 he will have added Saved, Truesoul and Hot Creations to that list. For a producer that has been producing since 2006 and running his own successful label – Material Series – since 2007, his time – it seems – is right now.

His debut release for Glasgow Underground (Losty/Freedom) – a collaboration with Raffa FL earlier this year – was a huge success and now he’s back on his own with two stand-out tracks.
