Today’s word of the day is tactless.

Tactless is a descriptive word therefore it is an adjective.

Tactless describes someone or something as having or showing a lack of skill and sensitivity in dealing with people or difficult issues.

An example of the word tactless used in a sentence would be:

He's a such a tactless person, he tried to help but ended up making them cry.

Or, It would be tactless to just go in and take it, we should talk to her first.

Synonyms: insensitive, inconsiderate, undiplomatic, graceless, awkward.

Antonyms: tactful, diplomatic, discreet, graceful, skilful.
