After 15 years of shaping Hungary’s electronic music events scene, Technokunst proudly unveils its record label. The inaugural 12” kicks off a series of collaborative releases, featuring some of the collective’s favourite Artists. Each release in the ‘Split Series’ will consist of both original tracks and reworks.

The first EP brings together Rrose and Luigi Tozzi for a dive into very deep waters across four cuts of mental Deep Techno. These are functional, floor-focused workouts — built for keeping the floor moving through all phases of the night.

Aquaregia Studio Mix No. 26: Emily Nicoll

Salvador Perea, aka Retter, is a Colombian DJ, producer, and electronic music enthusiast who moved to Berlin five years ago to immerse himself in its underground scene and contribute to its vibrant culture.

Initially drawn to techno, his sound evolved within Berlin's dynamic landscape. 
As Retter, he spans a wide range of electronic music - venturing into experimental territories while keeping the dancefloor alive with intrigue. 
An outlet of raw energy and hypnotic grooves, his sets combine precision and unpredictability.

He is also part of the trio 2001 Space Odyssey with Nikita T and Fase023, blending live improvisation and experimental fusion to push musical boundaries.
During the pandemic, Salvador found inspiration in organizing and playing at raves, which led to the creation of Técnica - a label and event series. Técnica's releases gained attention, and its events in underground and illegal clubs helped establish its distinct presence in the Berlin scene.

Predawn Records is a beacon for all deep techno lovers out there, and Stuttgart is truly lucky to have them. They've built an incredible community in the South of Germany with their intimate shows, collaborations, artist spotlights, and experimentation. No strangers to us here at Delayed, Predawn is made up of Tama, Nils Edte & Laima Adelaide. Founded in 2021, the label has been a home base for the 3 artists & their musical output. An interesting tidbit you may not know about them is the way they're so deeply rooted in classical music. Marko, Nils and Laima all have a background in the genre which explains the precise yet tactile & delicate nature of the releases on the label.

For TAMA's (Marko Mrdja) latest release, "Arc," he’s carrying the torch for the Predawn sound. A quick look at his page will give you insight into his other projects, including playing the piano for the Soundrise Quartet. Across all his work, Marko's passion and musical learnings shine through, reflecting a commitment to composing, producing, and playing music that simply makes him happy. We all crave different things throughout the day, and across seasons, and Marko’s projects embody that.

Blueish-silver. A gentle pulse, propelled by subtle, distant soundscapes and everyday sounds captured. What they are I’m not sure, but they are certainly comforting and reassuring. The song is smooth—there are no sudden jolts or surprises, just a finely crafted track. Listen to it, then listen to it again, and again, it only gets better, as the details and new sounds reveal themselves with every listen. 

This track and the rest of the EP including a remix from Rambadu will be available to purchase via their Bandcamp page digitally and on vinyl on the 10th October.

PREMIERE: TAMA - Bluish Silver  [Predawn Records]

The next episode in our podcast series comes from our friend Kralle (@kralle_dj) from Berlin. He delivers a smooth mix with a laid-back vibe, blending wobbly grooves and percussions with atmospheric trippers and subtle psy elements. A pretty distinctive one – thank you, Vale!

alyrik is a producer and DJ based in Wrocław. Member of Velvet Vortex collective. He works primarily with deep techno, hypnotic techno and ambient, aiming to turn his DJ sets into introspective shamanic experiences.
“You walk into a dark forest, under the shadows of ancient giant trees. The deeper you go, the darker and more mysterious it becomes. Then, between the trunks, you notice faint openings of light. You follow them and step out onto an old swamp. On its mossy mounds sit swamp nymphs: instead of mouths, they have water lilies — and they sing through them. Slowly, every plant and creature begins to move in a strange dance. Their vibrations turn into a deep bass that shakes the ground beneath your feet and the air you breathe. This is how the music enters you… The rest of this unknown story is told in the mix.”
