For the 9th International Drone Day, Transience invited long-time collaborator Ligovskoï and new-to-transience-musician Felicity Mangan to share the joy of droning. At the Cashmere Studio in Wedding, Felicity played a live version of her One Instrument release, Bell Metal Reeds, that "explores the resonance and pitch of the reeds within at the harmonica The Echo Harp of the brand M. Hohner. Bell Metal Reeds shows a committed and ambitious composition in each singular tone." Ligovskoï created a new composition for this year's drone day, employing modular details and their signature airpads that allow you to sink into while they gently tug at your heartstrings. We highly recommend listening on headphones or good speakers from a horizontal-ish position.

Emanuele Pertoldi was born in a small village in the North East of Italy. Since he was a child he had a strong passion for music and it became stronger and stronger. He took a degree in Modern Music - Music Production in Bologna.
Sound research, creativity and passion are the keys of his tracks.
In 2013 he started a new alias, S/EXP (Shaded Explorer), with the aim to represent himself in a more intimate way. The description of the project says: "S/EXP lives in a place where the music is hidden behind a dense fog and dreams are suffocated by an unpromising reality. This stimulates him to continue his research of magical places around the world, being them ethereal landscapes, deep cenotes or blue seas. In those places he discovered and created new sounds, melodies and rhythms that melted together create soundscapes for escape."The first release is an album on Eclipsemusic that was also played live by him (just with hardware) at Club To Club in Turin, one of the most representative festivals in Italy. Following this concept in 2014 he founded his own intimate imprint Shaded Explorations.
Now he's one of the great mask of ambient music and deep sounds, especially after the release on Silent Season and Kabalion Records.

Biography:
Zhe Pechorin is a project by Angelina Micic from Belgrade, Serbia. 
Inspired by philosophy of existentialism, in her music she is trying to give her interpretation of relation between limitless power of creativity and desperate weakness of human being in front of atemporal nature by using hypnotic rhythms mixed with dark and melancholic atmosphere. 
From this year she is a part of Tenebrous Music label, and her tracks will be featured in upcoming v/a releases this summer. Besides that, she is preparing 2 single releases until the end of 2017 for newborn Berlin based labels: Enslavement and Holy Geometry.
