Inspired by my growing fatigue of the N-word and my thirst for youthful empowerment, I wanted to create a song that could spark the use of the word “king” so that by the time my sons are in middle school, maybe they’ll address their peers as royalty. An old man can dream can’t he? Redd Lettaz added the backdrop from the original Coming To America and we’re late on the release but I had to get it right. Enjoy.
