Bonus - One Last Strife (SBURBAN NEIGHBORHOOD)

An arrangement of Berdlys character and battle theme from Deltarune chapter 2.  With louder instruments an a trumpet solo because why not.

Honestly this was a fun cover to make, I really like how the drums turned out.... Berdly is one,  of, if not the funniest characters in the chapter, and his theme is simple and cool if you know what I mean. If it wasn't because of, irl stuff I would have made this early rather than, months after the fact... oh well.

I really  hope y'all like it!.

What Looks Back.

HEY I LIKE DESYNCED AND MADE MUSIC FOR IT, REMEMBER THAT?

Originally made back in 2021, one of my favorite tracks made for the comic was finally used on the most recent SAHcon trailer for the comic (wich you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jie8P_OG4pM&t=0s). 

Despite being quite some time I still love how this track sounds and everything. If you're familiar with my Desynced work, you'll notice the use of a certain motif that relates to what the track was originally intended to.

Took a year to do because I had quite a hard time deciding how exactly should I go with it. My best idea? Making the track a really long build up in tension with no real release! So in a way it fits as a scary track or something.

What Looks Back (Extended)

A JRPG battle theme using the live a live soundfont.

I did a really catchy hook. So I grabbed the Live a Live soundfont and did a track arround it. Inspired by both megalomania and  "A Painful Death at the Hands of a Psycho"

Does it fit the game? is it catchy? way too repetitive? IDK I was having fun while making it.

(Also the name was inspired by Bravely Default because that's what makes it a true JRPG song.)

About the song..... (copy pasted from my own comentary)

This track its about caliborn/lord english and his life in the comic as a paradox that loops
(but this song doesn't loop because it would be boring)
 
How i did it? well, i tried to represent most of the tracks i could related to the character, in a
narrative way. starting with a melancholic piano representing eternity served cold, mostly to the entirety
of the comic where lil cal where allways there to complete the loop with everything about doc scratch etc etc.
after that we go to the section that represents the final battle in homestuck
(the part that goes crazy its a reference to oppa toby style.. in style lol). and when the rock/metal
Part ends we got to the part that i decided to go full orchestra that represents how caliborn gets
his sould (and others too) into lil cal, and the loops BEGINS (thats why i decided to do again the start of
the rock part with a sound clip in reverse of the previous part  before that)
