Inside the cardamom capsule are the seeds, that give it its characteristic taste; mainly volatile oils that taste a bit like eucalyptus. When put in coffee, they create ever-changing oily textures on it’s surface. It makes the coffee more digestible and neutralizes the caffeine. It tastes a bit paradox. But eventually the taste becomes something else. A special blend that is neither the one nor the other. 

ele & bīsu’s music goes back to studio sessions fueled by cardamom coffee. It’s preparation has been a steady ritual that accompanied the making of the EP. It is the random seeming details and procedures like this that form artistic processes and inspiration. Some day, they might even become an image for a type of experience greater than the individual memory.

With spellbinding mastery, Joe's graceful movement between records is something that almost has to be witnessed to be believed. Luckily for you, however, we were able to capture that sorcery live as Joe took to the turntables at the Olive Grove. Recorded live at Dimensions 2021, the recording is crammed with hefty electro and house bumpers – another absolute highlight for us at this year's event. Try not to stomp your feet along to this one (it's impossible).

One for the house parties, Polish DJ and producer Ku Ku goes big for this high energy mix which oozes the essence of y2k with obscure pop edits of the likes of Madonna, Kaskade, Kylie Minogue and Earth, Wind & Fire - it's fun, vibrant and sassy! 

Based in Warsaw, Ku Ku studied cinematic sound design, wrote extensively about music for Lineout and Glissando magazines and is currently hosting a radio show at Radio Kapital. Before releasing his debut EP, 'ESC EP', in 2020, Ku Ku had contributed tracks to compilations for Classical Trax and BAS. Also known for his scores for animated movies and video games, Ku Ku followed up with the Za du​ż​o / Od nowa EP on Tańce which continues to showcase why he is referenced as one of Poland's best kept secrets.

South African duo Logo Alloy & Zam T bring spiritual depths to new EP for Vibe Me To The Moon. This duo hooked up back in 2021, and since then, they have been helping to shape the contemporary deep house underground in SA. Their mission to craft timeless sounds steeped in real emotion has taken them to labels like Harley & Muscle's Soulstar Records and Little Angel, as well as the likes of Open Bar Music. The richness of their sound designs and always infectious grooves have seen them climb high in charts, and this latest EP on Nightsteppaz NYC label is another big step up.

 Opener 'Care For Me' is a deep house gem built on a groove with a subtle skip and enveloped with warm, diffuse chords that call to mind greats of the genre like Terrence Parker and Louie Vega. Silky, soulful vocals glide up top with a sense of intimacy and vulnerability that blends dancefloor energy with tender melodic textures. The superb 'Goin Nowhere' cruises on low-slung drums and louche claps that lay the foundations of a dreamy late-night vibe. Starry-eyed chords shimmer through the mix, while jazzy keys add a playful charm to a velvet-wrapped soundscape that’s equal parts house and lounge.

 Next up, the dubby 'Let's Go' has more drive and percussive texture with some subtle cosmic FX. A spoken word vocal layers in further smoky depths to this late-night, chord-infused cruise to the stars. Last but not least, 'Don't Go Stay' showcases Logo Alloy & Zam T's melodic flair with a mix of soft, sugary chords and Roy Ayers-style keys that bring subtle celebration and life-affirming soul to another buttery smooth groove.
