First of all I like to wish you Merry Christmas. Think about positive things in life and have a great time together with your Family. That´s most important. I am really happy to give away my this years "Christmas Mix" (Number 05). This time I decided to record my DJ Mix in a Club in Germany (Augsburg) called "Kesselhaus" which I really love.  And this year I recorded a 2 hours Set and mixed it up with unreleased and also already released music of mine. I hope you have fun with that one and slide smooth into 2017.

Faber’s debut album "Loophole" is followed by a colorful remix EP on Heimlich Musik, with contributions by Niklaus Katzorke, Oberst & Buchner, Genii, Dandara, Ameli Paul, Sidirum, Yolanda Frei Marabou and Landhouse. Ranging from organic reimaginations over trippy slow house floor fillers to energetic disco rollers, the fresh interpretations keep the melancholic spirit of the original cuts, using the original parts and vocal samples precisely. The next drink in our glass is served to you by the marvelous Armenian musician Moon’s Voyager. His tracks, in which he gives oriental harmonies a danceable character, deal with the diversity of life in all its manifestations.

The first track on the EP is called "The Blue Shoeshiner" and the outstanding piano melody takes us back to a time when saloons and juke boxes still where a big thing. The two remixes by Samaha and MONKYMAN take up the basic idea of the track and give it their own flavor in a unique way.

The second track with the title "The Bride’s of Moks", tells the story of an ancient Armenian province in all its beauty and grace. Modern electronic revisions were contributed by nutia and Antaares.

As usual we want to thank all artists involved, as well as Kilian Van De Water for the outstanding artwork and Haunted Water for the flawless mastering.

Just a little reinterpreation for my 2019-Liveset @klunkerkranich :)
The original Rabenkind was a little laidback, so I wanted a more danceable/funky version. It is not thaaaat polished (just added the E-Piano I wanted to play live, changed the Kick and did some basic mixing). This release is kind of a "Thank you" for supporting me in 2020 that much :) You will see some more releases from myself and my project @bassaramusic (with the lovely @sahrabass) in the near future!
