I have been sitting on this edit for about a month now. For some reason, this particular track came in my head while at work. I had this crazy idea, what if I change the time signature of the this classic tune? So I flipped the beat up and chopped the vocals to match the new beat. The vocals itself took me a month to edit for the simple fact, the song is 7 minutes and I would only do a few verses at a time because chopping in 6/8's time signature was messing with my ears a little bit and I wanted to make sure that the lyrics would sound fluid over the new beat. Also, what's so crazy about this song is that all the stuff they were talking about 30+ years ago is still relevant in today's society.

What up peeps, hope everyone is having a great weekend. So my good friends Moonchild released thier 2nd album "Voyager", earlier this year. I have been rocking this joint for a couple of months now.  "Run Away" is one of my favorite tracks off the album. I was super inspired to flip this joint in a different way. Hope you peeps like it.
