Written last night, when I couldn't sleep. I tried and tried but sleep wouldn't come. So what else could I do but making music? 

Maybe you like this song and listen to it when you can't sleep, too. And maybe you fall asleep eventually. 


Can't Sleep

This is a 4 minute edit of a new 20 minute epic by Thomas Rydell/Uwe Cremer. It's the longest track of our next release "The Ticking Tyrant" (working title) 

Because there are so many different parts in this song, covering as many different moods, I took a minute here and a minute there to give an impression of the different sections of the song.

We melted classical, orchestral, acoustic and rock elements into one 20 minute epic reflecting our lives being organized in hours minutes and seconds.

A 2,5 minute edit of another new song written by Thomas Rydell and me. The track is called ZEITNOT (=shortage of time). The starting point was a couple of tracks with acoustic guitars, bass and flutes playing a repetitive pattern.  After a lot of rearranging  drums, sequencer, electric guitars, bass guitar, tons of effects were added, more changes in the arrangement …

The vocoder voice is speaking some keywords about time pressure in German like "Stunden", "Minuten", "Hektik" or "Stress"

This is a short edit of a looong jam session from Tuesday 28th of march with my friend Andreas Baaden. Except for the acoustic drums and some reverb and automation, everything happened on the fly.

I like the dark and hypnotic atmo. For I'm bad with genres and tags I leave that to you.

Combine it with classical instruments and you will have the music that is featured in ”Sirius Singularity”, the upcoming album of my collaboration with Swedish composer Thomas Rydell.

Level π is the German musician Uwe Cremer (born January 13, 1965), whose musical style is inspired by Krautrock, Electronic and Experimental music. 
Level π 's first album "Entrance" was published in 2006 under the Garden of Delights label. His second album "Electronic Sheep" appeared on Musea in 2009. His compositions have been compared by various reviewers to work from Klaus Schulze, Ash Ra Temple  and to Pink Floyd  among others.&#13;
He guested on solo guitar on the title track of Computerchemist's fourth album Aqual Measure in 2009.&#13;
Uwe Cremer grew up in Iserlohn and was introduced to Krautrock and electronic music at the age of nine by Kraftwerk's Autobahn and Comet Melody 2. Further important genres which influenced his musical style are Progressive Rock and also Heavy Metal. At the age of 13, he got his first acoustic guitar and at the age of 23 his first electrical guitar. His first keyboard was a Yamaha PSR SQ 16 in 1998. With the computer as a multi-channel sound recording station, he recorded his first album "Entrance" in 2005. Since 1996, Uwe Cremer lives in Cologne, Germany.&#13;
