Welcome welcome friends, fam, and fellow creatives. It feels so good to be back, as I am honored to announce episode 3. So much love went into the creation of this mix. Episode 3 continues to bring the highest quality mixes. To ensure that quality, I took a short break to live, heal and feed my creativity. 

One of the highlights, in replenishing my creative juices, was a volunteer at "Form" 3-day music & arts festival experience held at Paolo Soleri’s World Renowned Arcosanti, Arizona.  

In their own words, "the form experience focusing on place, environment & our interactions with each other. It aims to imagine and accommodate meaningful and memorable settings for the participation, creation & enjoyment of music, art & ideas."

Accountability was the action I walked away from form. Stay focus on what you need to do to get where you need to be. So many of the participants were sharing similar struggles and it was refreshing meeting so many individuals working multiple jobs while simultaneously working on their craft.
 
As I've been collecting music since December for episode 3, but I wanted to take a moment to honor Crenshaw rapper/entrepreneur/community activist, Nipsey Hussle. 

Thank you, Nipsey, for the music and all of the work you did in showing your community love. You were a real one, acting as a role model, by opening the marathon store to provide resources and knowledge to improve your community.

I encourage you all, to continue your own research on American History through the words of many great rappers and musicians to hear their stories through the power of song. Let this mix continue to motivate you, ground your work in truth, to learn, do better and stay inspired.
