Juan Carlos Ortega Garcia aka CARLOS ORTEGA DJ Born on August 2, 1990, in Guadalajara, Jalisco. His proposal is full of style and shows a special versatility when he is performing. His interaction with genres such as House, Minmal House and Techno make his presentations something different and unique at the same time. The creation of enveloping atmospheres is part of his style, able to detonate the dance floor as well as to construct it.

In 2007 with only 17 years old he started out as a DJ and with his first residency.With his 15 years of experience, his talent has taken him to play at clubs (residences), festivals and private events such as: WhereHouse (Tijuana), Dynamitas Club (Puebla), Club 01, Hotel Thompson, Cococ Maya, Martina (Playa de Carmen), Mumbai (orizaba), Ovum festival, izcalli fest 2013, 8 store (condesa), El Relicario, Bleu Club, Rioma, Americana Club, Terraza Catedral, Nix Club, Hooka Records, AM Local and Residencies at Cielito Social Club, Biergarten, Messy, El Pre, only to mention a few. Creating a space, a reputation and quickly making its way into the Mexican scene.
At the same time, he is producing on his own label called HOTWAX, which are based on House, Minimal House and Techno genres. Some of his productions have been released by, TESIS: Music Theraphy, Ibiza Records (Barcelona), Aura Records and Bandcamp.

At the moment he is working on a project, a podcast focused on electronic music with national and international artists called HOTTUNES PODCAST on SoundCloud.

Riding in with the power to deliver sunshine to world’s rainiest open-air events, Monkey Safari brings rays of light to whatever dance floors they cast their shimmering spell on. 

The German brothers have released on Get Physical numerous times over the years, but not since 2020's 'Palomar.' Their new single 'Ceremony' shows how their sound has evolved since then and comes after more than a decade of EPs and LPs on their own Hommage label as well as the likes of Anjunadeep and Spectrum. What defines the music of Lars Rühlemann and Sven Fröhlich - not least their 2021 album ‘Love Will Set U Free’ - is a curiousness and left-of-centre character that always embellishes each groove. That is once again the case here.

The sublime 'Ceremony' is seven minutes of deep but exotic house music. Expressive vocal wails drift in and out to spiritual effect while the warm beats roll deep. Shakers, lush pads and tropical melodies all bring the detail that makes this another standout cut.

With 'Ceremony,' Monkey Safari has already started to build anticipation for Body Language Vol. 24.
