The Texas Based Indie Hip-Hop Artist known as Stitchlip, A.K.A. Levi Glassrock is back in full color, with Floatilla, his debut full length album. available on Stitchlips House, his own self-ran independent label. 
Coming from a life & times as a street artist, many say the most prolific in the state of Texas, since the year 2000. Levi is is widely known for his cartoon character Stitchlip & a collection of oil pastels, his signature series, which most people know him by. A recording artist since the age of 17, These 11 songs were professionally recorded & Produced by Levi himself in his home studio during the year 2010. 
This is a diverse collection of material, some are conspiracy theory driven anthems for those that believe that "the truth is out there" like "Minor Threat" & "Under My Skin", Others, heart felt love Songs & ballads with emotionally charged lyrics that seem like they were taken from ghost stories &  wedding vows, Some, mysterious, powerful, melancholy, dark hymnals such as "A Suicide Note", all the way to,  the title track "Floatilla", a surprisingly optimistic song about U.F.O Invasion, & "When I hit the moon", an affectionate  song about keeping it real when you've quote, unquote,"made it". 
There is a cultural relevance in the lyrics & a diversity in the musical styles presented  in this album that is refreshing, & assuredly no accident, Levi's broad range of influence and prior musical experience give birth to, smart, well timed, straight forward rhythms & beats merging with post-hardcore influenced melodys where rock & roll meets hip-hop meets shoegaze, & electro-pop all of which combining to make you wonder,what genre of music, this really is"
