certain moments I could breathe 
let no one know I was alive 
apparently my time was up 
cause I was jolted by my spine 

back to the cycle back to fright
back to seeing back behind 
and on ahead and on the sides 
and all the voices in my mind 

rising up and falling down 
like beating waves upon the bank
still feel the searing of my spirit
like a thousand slashing blades 

stayed there spinning as I lost all hope of coming back to life
remembered that ____ said to hold my breath, & stopped my cry 

cycle slowed down to a stop 
as all the voices drowned to quiet 
and then one voice came on again 
said is he dead? did he die? 

get him out! next thing I knew 
back in a body on a table, 
doctors all in hazmat suits 
we're checking if my state was stable, 

all rushing to see if I can still breathe
moments I saw in the future received, 
noticed computers inside of the room
code for my life from the womb to the tomb. 

somehow made a mistake 
and he knew I was live, 
he said 'throw him back in' 
as he moved to the side 

once again in the worst hell 
I've seen in in this life 
lost all hope of return
lost all will to survive 

several days, several months
several years out of doors 
so it seemed in my brain 
I came back to the floor 

threw up out of the window 
I'm back in this world 
couple hours elapsed 
and that set me on course

“Even the gods, or the angels, the devas are still bound on the wheel of, the the sort of squirrel cage, of going round and round and round in the pursuit of success, and the idea is that if you pursue something that you can call success, pleasure, good, virtue, which originally of course means strength, magical power, all these positive things, you are under illusion because the positive cannot exist without the negative. To be, you only know what ‘to be’ is, by contrast with ‘not to be,’ so if we say now, there is a coin in the left hand, there is no coin in the right, and from this you get the idea of ‘to be’ and ‘not to be,’ and you can't have the one without the other. So if you try to pursue to gain the positive, and to deny, get rid of, the negative it's as if you were trying to arrange everything in this room so that it was all up and nothing was down. You can't do it. You set yourself an absolutely insoluble problem, because the basis of life is spectrum."

standing up in open space
I realize I'm on my feet 
soon a technicolor wave 
multiplies into a sea 

by the blank I see 
I'm standing on a pier 
energy is at the end 
as I approach it, growing clear 

a huddled mass of laughing men of metal
pointing as they jeered 
at three golliaths, frightening giants
that were made of whirring wheels 

composed of technicolor flame 
inside each wheel there spun a soul
orbs of light that rolled the same
and then as if I was controlled 

I was raising up my hand 
and laughing too with all the crowd
that's when a voice rang in my mind
that didn't come from any mouth 

but everyone could hear aloud
said you'll know just how this feels
next i'm flipping round and round 
they pulled our spirits in the wheels 

instant pain, tearing soul
sarted listening to the sound
while screaming out into the fire
a thousand voices all around 

said 'stay quiet,' and 'stop crying,
cause you just got here today,' 
while they'd been there for millennia 
in that lost place in space 

and while this tearing at my soul
was probably eating up my brain
I stayed there for what seemed forever 
round the cycle, self-contained 

overlaying all my vision
groveling mosaic face
said each word as I would listen
entity I can't escape 

until a time the cycle slowed
and something grabbed me by my spine
pulled me out from where i rolled
into a room completely white 

inside ____ standing there
I ran up to him as I cried 
how do I get away from here?
you've been before, I never tried 

said, you'll be fine, just hold your breath
he touched my head and showed my times
off in the future I would get
when they would think that I was dying

got to take another loss
hope to find another goal
watch me breaking down my wall
caught my crawling out a hole

always riding for a fall
no escaping from the flow
drop the load, the final straw
felt alone since I awoke

counting the cost
as I find my way home
climb to the top
just to topple below

long way to go
so I chose to withdraw
wait for the dawn
when my pathway is shown

only want to take a pause
isolated from the show
lately nothing's paying off
reaping everything I've sown

every scene that I saw
every word that I wrote
all the things that I thought
every syllable spoke

stepping stones on the path
leading back to the Whole
on the road 'til we crash
always coming too close

was so that we could grow
