Ha "Moon" Tran is a piano student of Martin Labazevitch at Levine Music and is a 7th grade student at Alice Deal Middle School in Washington, DC.  She has been studying piano at Levine for 3 years.  During her time here, she has studied music theory and participated in chamber music ensembles.  As a performer she won second place in the 2016 Cogen Concerto Competition.  She is currently a member of the 2017-2018 John S. Martin Piano Trio at Levine.

Originally written by the Venetian Baroque composer Alessandro Marcello as a concerto for oboe and strings, the work was later arranged for keyboard by J. S. Bach, to develop into a well-established repertoire piece in the 20th and 21st centuries. Its second movement, "Adagio", is particularly well-known for its transcendental beauty, and is part of the soundtracks of "Fifty Shades of Grey" (2015) and other movies.
