InsideInfo kicked off 2015 with the widely received Mushroom / The Plains single on Viper Recordings, gaining airplay from Mistajam, Friction & DJ Hype, whilst simultaneously getting smashed out in clubs by the likes of Ed Rush & Optical, Sub Focus, The Prototypes, Calyx & Teebee, Phace & Misanthrop, and Optiv & BTK. Riding off the back of this InsideInfo will lay down a DNB60 mix on Friction’s BBC Radio 1 show in September to cap off another stellar year.

Mefjus has equally had an amazing year with the launch of his Emulation LP on Critical, collaborations with Noisia & The Upbeats and remixes for the likes of Ivy Lab, as well as the recent collaboration with InsideInfo and The Upbeats on Footpath on Virus Recordings.

Together they have been smashing up headline slots at festivals all summer and as the fields start to empty they’re now ready to fill your speakers with their latest collaboration: Pulsation / Talisman.

Pulsation is a slice of technical genius that will get the chin-strokers jumping and the ladies shaking. If you took Pacman, pumped him full of steroids and got him to swim in a bath of Redbull you’re part way to getting on the right track. Quality, bouncing Drum & Bass, that’s cheeky and oh so sub heavy.

Flip side we have Talisman adding a few more coals to the fire.  It gets down dirty in all the right places and goes balls out for this full on affair. Tricky edits, thundering subs and mountain shaking breaks and beats see’s Talisman finish off this single in underground style.

Audiomission is a producer who's been putting in work in the underground scene for time now, and now blesses our label with two tasty tunes in his signature style. Hailing from Bristol, he's been doing the rounds in the scene, running a system with a crew then a label, having releases on the tightest UK underground labels, and playing out with loadsa big names, always pushing that hybrid dnb & jungle/dubwise sound that wrecks dancefloors worldwide. 

'Evolve' is a dark, gritty stepper; opening with a moody, interesting environment that drops into a weighty, minimal tune. A sparse arrangement is punctuated by the distinctive 'gravelly' bass sounds; setting it apart from your everyday minimal tech with just a tinge of that UK roller vibe! 

'Deadly' flips the script, immediately setting the scene with a much lusher, fuller introduction, giving way to a strong, warping funk tune. A heavy sub rhythm gives it just a hint of jungle flavour, while watery textures and futuristic synths fill out the mids & tops, absolutely killer tune showcasing Audiomission's skills as a producer, destined to smash up dances in Bristol and beyond!

Gray has been making waves at Born On Road HQ since our 1st slightly bizarre meeting with him in a field in Winchester at a popular music festival in 2018. Though his roots run a lot deeper. He cut his teeth though the free party scene in his hometown of London proving he has the minerals whist effortlessly mixing between styles.

Since moving to Bristol he has fully submerged himself into the circuit growing ever popular amongst ravers who have taken to joining in with the infectious vocals of his newly acclaimed anthem ‘Rubadub’, just one of the tunes off this heavyweight EP that has been doing major damage over the summer and is already turning the heads of some of the big players in the scene and it’s sub genres!

Gray has also enrolled the talents of two veterans of the scene, The Ragga Twins drop the lead line on Blood, a hard hitting bass heavy tune.

This EP is rammed packed full of goodness and comes with our certified Born On Road dance floor seal of approval, we are super hyped to welcome Gray as a member of our ever expanding family and we all look forward to working with him more in the future. But for now we’ll let the music do the talking…

Gray - Rubadub - Clip - Out Now

This year [2019] I was given the absolute honour and mega challenge of composing all the closing ceremony tracks for Boomtown Fair to be used over the two main stages Relyc and Nucleus . 

This was a mammoth task and took me 2 months or so to complete creating two original tracks Artificial Intelligence (D&B , Techno) and 2 remixes of Baiana by the amazing Barbatuques (D&B , Techno) Sadly the Techno version of Baiana was not used but here it is for you guys to enjoy anyway. 

I would like to thank Lak and all the team at Boomtown for this awesome opportunity and for having faith in me. It is by far the most monumental thing I have done in my musical career to date. 

Sadly we were un able to release these tracks anywhere else other than here and these tracks are available for free download Via Hypeddit as it would be fab to gain some extra followers of my music. 

As always having been a Boomtown resident since way back when I look forward to seeing you all on the dance floors in 2020 . You will be able to find me at the Scrapyard no doubt jumping around in the DJ booth like a lunatic.
