A charity album on the occasion of the 30th edition of “The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity”

We work in the structures of the club scene on a daily basis. We write about music, produce, organize events. We are united by a love of music, but also a willingness to help. The idea for a charity album was born in March 2021. From word to word, after weeks, we gathered the line-up of artists who were close to our musical tastes.

Many paired artists collaborated for the first time. The album does not lack producer debuts as well as experienced in this field. Everyone, without exception, agreed to take part in the project almost repeatedly, starting its implementation. The entire twenty-five (OTHK is a duo editor's note) were extremely enthusiastic about the idea, confirming our belief in the rightness of the further implementation of the assumptions made at the beginning of the plan - make everything possible by January, the beginning of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity collection and auctions.

Unlike other auctions, this one will be unique. We have prepared ONE, ONLY album piece. A real vinyl "White Raven", the production of which will never be repeated. An album that will have one owner, the only lucky one. For this purpose, we have prepared a unique cover, dedicated graphics and the white color of 12 ”discs symbolizing the eyes - an element strongly related to the theme of the jubilee 30th edition of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, that is, eyesight. This year's finals will be held under the slogan "Look at your eyes", and the fundraiser will be conducted in terms of children's ophthalmology. This year's goal of Jurek Owsiak and his fearless army is to ensure the highest standards of diagnosis and treatment of eyesight in children in Poland.

The auction of our album will take place on the website of the official partner of Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity - Allegro.pl. Not wanting to be limited only to the home yard, the album can also be auctioned in euro - which was what we wanted the most. We value the ability to reach the widest possible audience as much as the belief in collecting as much money as possible, which we will be able to add to the account of the most meritorious philanthropic foundation in the history of Poland.

It is said that it is worth helping. It doesn't matter in what form. It doesn't matter how much money is collected. One and only gesture can work wonders. That is why we hope that with our (and your) help we will be able to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life and health of many a child in need. Even more so by doing and loving what we actually do every day.

Anxiety for Living es el seudónimo a través del cual Óscar ofrece su visión de la música electrónica, un proyecto que fluye por las diferentes vertientes del Techno a pesar de haber sido concebido en sus cimientos. La eterna búsqueda de la pureza ha dotado a su música de un valor intrínseco, alejándola de cualquier estereotipo.

Salitre ha jugado un papel fundamental en su evolución artística, un liceo de conocimiento donde conformar su personalidad. En estos 5 años la experiencia adquirida toma forma para desarrollar sus directos, nutriéndose del EBM, Electro, IDM o Ambient como herramientas narrativas para hacer llegar su mensaje.

En la actualidad su figura ejerce una posición de activista musical, siempre en movimiento, siempre agitando la escena gallega.

Anxiety for Living is the pseudonym through which Óscar offers his vision of electronic music, a project that flows through the different aspects of Techno despite having been conceived at its foundations. The eternal search for purity has endowed his music with an intrinsic value, distancing it from any stereotype. 

Salitre has played a fundamental role in his artistic evolution, a lyceum of knowledge where he has shaped his personality. In these 5 years, the experience acquired takes shape to develop his live performances, nourished by EBM, Electro, IDM or Ambient as narrative tools to get his message across.

He is currently a musical activist, always on the move, always stirring up the Galician scene.

Eduardo Smetana is a regular activist  supporting local projects on a Łódź's scene since 2017. She performed in Berlin (VOID, ACUD MACHT NEU), Częstochowa (Scena TfP), Katowice (SIXA), Gdańsk (Ziemia), Cracow (Szpitalna 1, Sekta Selekta), Wrocław (Transformator, Ciało) and Poznań (Projekt LAB, Dom Technika). 
Lover of a hard beat, controlled noise and precise constructions. She adapts classical music knowledge and transpose it to the electronic scene with no fear of crossing the boundries of genres.
She shared the stage with  Al Ferox, madwoman, Christopher Joseph, Baseck, Hadone, Stef Mendesidis and Psyk.

Eduardo Smetana regularnie działa na łódzkiej scenie klubowej od 2017 r. wspierając lokalne projekty, aczkolwiek można ją było usłyszeć również m.in.: w 
Miłośniczka mocnego bitu, kontrolowanego hałasu i precyzyjnych konstrukcji.
Wiedzę zdobytą w czasie nauk o muzyce klasycznej przenosi na scenę muzyki elektronicznej, nie bojąc się pływać między różnymi gatunkami.
Na scenie towarzyszyli jej m.in. Al Ferox, madwoman, Christopher Joseph, Baseck, Hadone, Stef Mendesidis i Psyk.

Hugo Rolan signs his third album, this time on Legend 1997 Records, label owned by David Reina. Debut album was on the acclaimed Warm Up Recordings, second one on the legendary Axis Records. Now it’s turn for “Replica Hipnotica”, the longest to date with 13 cuts of intelligent Techno and Ambient soundscapes. “Replica Hipnotica” is a mental journey, a musical and sound exercise divided into 13 acts where you can explore different hypnotic landscapes. The album begins with “Inestabilidad Dinamica” an introduction that prepares us for this futuristic experience and amazing space travel, hypnotic sound, continuous adorned with interference and human voices. “Universo Observable” a deep techno cut, reflective sounds accompanied by 909 percussions that replicate the rhythm of the track until the end. "Funcion Reversible" and "Territorialidad Neutra" are the next stops on the album, direct and detailed techno that shows us how sounds can communicate with each other, accompanied by sonar sounds, keys and percussion. "Campo Gravitatorio" the serious and rhythmic sound of this cut is altered by its sharp cut that revolves around it to end up being the protagonist. "Planeta Extrasolar" a clean track, rhythmic techno that gives us a feeling of travel, of reaching an unexplored place, once again the hypnotic percussions serve as a vehicle towards the tranquility of… “Periodo Orbital” cut with deep and distant sounds that make the perfect atmosphere together 909 drums. “Capacidad Imposible” unpredictable cut, with hypnotic frequencies that take us from one side of the track to the other, marked percussion that develops the sounds and accompanies them, surrounds them into minimalism. “Continuidad Distante” creates the perfect atmosphere for us to face the end of the album, repetitive sound and percussion come together and mark the time, giving continuity to the journey. “Hipotesis Variable” and “Solidez Ambiental” make us enter the most techno part of the album, two cuts oriented to the dance floor, strong rhythms, dark, strident sounds, pure intensity where we reach the climax of the trip. “Estructura Artificial” is the farewell to the trip, a track that may seem slow, the sounds drag, they wrap each other. The percussions, keys, and sonar sounds encourage us to discover what the end is. “Control Subteorico” says goodbye to the trip by going back to the beginning, the sounds are transformed into a “Replica Hipnotica” of all the above, they summarize the album and close it, waiting for a new trip…
