Harmonie und eine präzise Mischtechnik machen Lewis Kaylen unverwechselbar. Seit über 16 Jahren beschäftigt sich Lewis mit elektronischer Tanzmusik. 1998 kam er das erste mal mit dieser Art von Musik in Berührung. Seine Mutter hatte ihm damals noch auf einer Kassette ein Stück eines Events aufgenommen. Das Urgestein der Szene, Mayday. Nach anfänglichem Interesse für dieses Genre, wurde es ihm doch schnell zu langweilig. Das Gefühl für die Monotonie und die Ekstase waren, für einen Jungen von sieben Jahren, einfach unverständlich. Erst mit zunehmender Reife und auch mit dem wachsendem Interesse am Auflegen, kam langsam das Verständnis. Dabei unterscheidet sich sein heutiger Stil enorm von seinen anfänglichen Erfahrung mit dieser Musik. Lewis begann nicht etwa mit den heute eher üblichen Genre. Seine ersten beiden Idole, Blank & Jones, kamen aus, einem damals noch, Recht bekanntem Stil, Trance. Vorallem das Album "Substance" begeisterte ihn enorm. Auch Größen wie Mauro Picotto, Kai Tracid, Ferry Corsten, Sylver, ATB, Tiesto oder Jamx & De Leon hatten einen respektablen Einfluss auf sein heutiges Schaffen. Doch als Trance immer unpopulärer wurde, drifte auch Lewis auf eine durchaus verwandte Schiene ab. Die Rede ist von Euro - Trance oder Hands Up. Heute verschmäht Lewis diesen Teil der EDM eher als "Kirmesmusik". Später allerdings rückte dann ein immer weiter aufstrebendes Genre in seinen Fokus, House. Anfänglich ein wenig vom Mainstream ver-guetta-saut, fand er nach etlichen Jahren seine heimliche Liebe, Techno, Deep - und Minimal House.
