Lex Lunar is many things: artist, educator, producer and recording engineer. Most of all, he is a believer - in life, love and the power of a dope beat!

Lex Lunar a.k.a. Sunny Cosmo was born on August 9, 1983. Growing up in a multi-cultural family, he was often confused by his identity. "I didn't know who I was." says Lex. "One day I'd be in the hood, listening to the Spinners and eating collard greens. The next day I'd be with my primos, dancing Salsa and eating rice and beans." 

However, this diversity would eventually become the driving force of his music. It shaped him as a person and forced him to discover and rediscover himself time and time again. "It may have taken me a while to get here, but that's all part of the experience. Now, I'm ready to tell my story." 

Lex's stories are not only unique, they are fun. Despite some serious content, he has no problem being the subject of his own jokes. "Humor will always be at the core of my music." says Lex. "You can't take yourself too seriously in this game. Besides, music is supposed to be entertaining ... laugh everyday and live it up!"
