The book of life written before the foundation of the world. In it contains the names of everyone that ever did, or ever will, believe in the eternal life giving words of God. A promise to count on, if one's name is written then it doesn't change... but from a mortal perspective we don't know, we can't know. We can suspect, we can hope, we can pray, and then we find out on judgement day.

Someone I look up to told me that he was dying. I wrote this to tell him just how much of an impact he had on me. A month later I learned it was a false alarm, but the feelings of grief were real. I've never been so happy to have believed a lie, may they write much more works and find the same happiness I've found. This song will be a lamento to each person that seems to be on a pedestal, so out of reach and far away... But it's worth it, reaching out to your musicians, your artists, the people you look up to. Tell them everything about how you feel, support them while you can because tomorrow is never promised. Another mentor told me something that resonated deeply. "Don't be shocked people die. Be surprised you're still alive." Every day is a gift. Don't waste it.

This song captures the nuanced differences, and similarities between a vocaloid and a human. On a certain level, there isn't much difference, not when you strip off the clothes, the deeds, the body... all that's left is the essence, and that is as naked as one gets.

This song is to try to pay a small tribute to yet another awesome side of his detail, the purifying flame that consumes, or refines, depending on if you resist, or succumb. Those that resist are burnt to cinders, and those that succumb come out more beautiful than the purest gold, or rarest jewels.
