On our latest release, we welcome the Paris based musician Joachim Pastor with his stunning EP 'Telfair'. Here, Pastor, who has enjoyed a musical upbringing and has been mentored by Sébastien Léger, presents three playful and emotive tracks, that shine bright with warming melodies and nostalgic soundscapes. While 'Eche' is defined by romantic piano keys and bittersweet vocal loops, 'Hands High' bedazzles with epic strings and a crunchy beat. Lastly, the title track 'Telfair' showcases Pastor's musicality as it marries organic guitars with a piercing synth lead.

Halle’s dynamic duo, Monkey Safari return to their beloved Hommage imprint after being away from the label for more then a year. With their beautifully crafted “Cranes” release they will surely make up for their long absence in a big way. Even looking at the names of the remixers in charge will leave every music lover very excited.

“Cranes” takes it’s time before introducing the bass drum, a bit more then two minutes to be exact. Monkey Safari get you in the mood with laid back, morphing spheric sounds and teasing percussion. The heavenly, slightly pitched down vocal will trigger a whole array of emotions before the journey even begins. Acoustic sounds combined with sleek piano chords and well placed break downs will make “Cranes” stay in your favorites list for months to come.

Everybody’s darling Kölsch is presenting the first remix. Kölsch is changing up the low frequencies as he adds layers of synthesizer progressions and a heavier bass drum. Sharp percussion and saw tooth sounds are drilling themselves through over ten minutes of musical bliss, but always leave enough space for the vocal to breath. 

Wolf + Lamb are closing out the release with their funk injected version. The lively acoustic drum programming breathes a different life into the track and takes it to a whole nother level. They provide “Cranes” with an overall more uplifting feel.

Alex aka Lexer ist ein junger DJ und Produzent.
Geboren und aufgewachsen in einer kleinen ostdeutschen Stadt namens Bad Lausick verschlug es den jungen DJ schnell ins nahe gelegene Leipzig, um sich dort voller Euphorie in das florierend-elektronische Nachtleben der Stadt zu stürzen. Ein Schritt, der wohl den Grundstein dafür legte, dass sich Lexer in den Jahren darauf zu einem strahlenden neuen Stern am DJ- und auch Produzentenhimmel entwickeln sollte, der schon mit seinem allerersten Release im Jahr 2013 für Aufsehen sorgte. Seine Musik ist ein Mix aus Deep House und melodiösen Pop.
Mit seiner Single Red Balloon schaffte er es 2014 für mehrere Wochen unter die Top 30 der Deutschen Klub Charts.

Bevor er nun am 28.02.2018 mit seiner neuen Single „WHAT IF NOTHING“ in den Startlöchern steht hat er uns die Ehre erwiesen und schaute nochmal mit einem Mix bei Serenity Heartbeat vorbei :-)
Ein treibendes Set mit unterschiedlichsten Melodien und musikalischen Einflüssen erwartet euch - ein echtes Sahnestück ;-)
