I wrote this song after a painful time in my life, where I saw that I was going in cycles. Cycles consisting of being okay and strong, to then be disappointed and hurt and come crashing down again. I think a lot of people can relate to trying to hide feelings and emotions after going through something hard. I wrote this song expressing how not everyone you meet are meant to stay in your life, but they can teach you lessons you carry on through life. Hope you like it!  

Goin' Round

I was inspired to write this song after some personal experiences. I found that it is so easy for women especially, after getting hurt, to put on a mask of happiness, because showing that you are hurt, is seen as being either "negative" or vulnerable, and it's scary to be those things. This song expresses how 1, it's okay to not "be okay" all the time, and express that you are hurt, and 2, it is okay to let the world know that you are beautiful. Every woman created is wonderfully made and should realize that. Hope you like it!
