Release thirty-two on Manjumasi presents a variety of reinterpretations of last year’s vinyl release Instant Transmission, from label founder atish together with Vridian.

A broad selection of remixers showcases the variety of sounds and styles that find a home in atish’s sets and in the Manjumasi label catalog. First up, Map.ache offers a groove-driven smooth and floaty remix of Touch & Go, well balanced with intricate details.

Next up, Mihai Popoviciu & Markus Homm do what they do best, putting some dance floor heat on Instant Transmission with a super-sturdy bassline groove and dubby textures floating over the mix.

Fast-rising Japanese producer boys be kko turns in two melodic mixes,with the Sanya Mix featuring a ripping unique synth lead, and the Yanagi Edit focusing on the deeper side of the groove and textures. iO Mulen takes things in a unique direction with a breakbeat-infused remix that mixes throwback elements with edgy modern sound design.

Finally, Indian producer Kohra wraps up the package with a late night interpretation, dark and dub-infused with molten metallic textures.

Damian Lazarus celebrates 20 Years of his world-renowned Crosstown Rebels imprint with a special album  project of unreleased cuts and fresh remixes, featuring material from Black Coffee, Maceo Plex, Art Department,  Dennis Cruz and many more. 

Ringing in a major milestone in style, 2023 will see Lazarus and Crosstown mark  the 20th Anniversary of the label with a series of celebratory projects unveiled in the lead-up to summer, with ‘CR20 The Album’ set for  release on 12th May 2023.  

“20 years ago, I dreamed a dream of creating a family of like-minded, crazy individuals from all corners of the planet - releasing  music to the world and making people dance. That dream was Crosstown Rebels, and this year we are 20. Over these years, I have  forged beautiful friendships, discovered very talented artists and tried my best to help, advise and support some of the most  colourful characters in dance music. Crosstown Rebels is more than a record label, it is family. 

So 2023 will mark the label’s 20th Anniversary. This is an opportunity for the Crosstown Rebels family, a global community of  artists, DJs and creatives, and the label’s myriad of followers to celebrate this momentous milestone. There will be parties and  events around the world. A killer compilation of exclusives and special remixes, a beautiful coffee table book, a short film, and a  special launch event are planned to bring together the sights and sounds of the label’s unique and influential history. Opening the package, Lazarus’ own 2020 collaboration ‘Into The Sun’ with regular Crosstown vocalist Jem Cooke is given a cosmic rework  by Johannesburg’s Major League DJz, while Jamie Jones’ slick ‘Paradise 2011’ is stripped back and given a new lease of life by the  hypnotic and heady sounds of Art Department. Opening the B-Side, Dennis Cruz brings his percussive Latin-infused signature sound  palette to Chilean musician and producer Pier Bucci’s ‘Hay Consuelo’, before Audiojack’s ‘Feel Good’, another standout collaboration  alongside Cooke, is taken into synth-led territories as Michael Mayer reaches for an evolving bed of captivating tones. 

The second half of the project brings more excellently remixed material, both new and old, with GRAMMY-winning DJ/producer Black Coffee  turning his hand to the label’s first release of 2023 in Made By Pete and Zoe Kypri’s emotive ‘Horizon Red’, unveiling reworked melodies and  sparkling keys as he delivers an interpretation of a track which has featured as a staple in his sets. Next, the project welcomes Adam Ten &  Yamagucci’s playful yet off-kilter and wonky ‘The K Dance’ which unveils itself as a production perfect for those late night hours and early  afters, before Ellum boss Maceo Plex’s ‘Together (2011 Mix)’ brings another lost production to the mix with a driving and zipping ride through  sugary synths and soaring leads. To close, Tibi Dabo turns his attention to Guti & Dubshape’s absorbing ‘Every Cow Has A Bird’, delivering a  nimble minimal-led trip through lush pads and crisp percussion to round things out in style.

'Josh Butler welcomes fresh talent to his prominent Origins imprint in the form of Inflair who unleashes a highly danceable and strong four track EP titled ‘Authenticity EP’ 

With pristine and clear production the future is clearly bright for the young up and coming UK artist Inflair, who has previously released on Satori London along with self releasing via his own Bandcamp page, and now he steps it up with a very strong release via Butlers Origins imprint.

The first track on the EP is called ‘Keep It Real’ which blends the realms of house and deep house and is full of elegance. Its deep and rolling feel is one that will have floors moving and people smiling from its uplifting and energetic feel.

Next up is ‘Sunrise’ where Inflair takes things deep and emotive. Swirling pads and pushing chords form the basis of this track and this is a classy affair that’s perfect for when the need for a certain chic ambience is required. Following on from this is the aptly named ‘Sunset’ which is a lucid dream pad laden journey of deep house which is the perfect sound for when the sunset is setting and people are getting ready for a night out. 

To finish off this excellent EP is ‘Tell Ya’ where Inflair adds some breakbeat to this EP and delivers a track loaded with depth and a subtle power that will work in many situations. It’s a beauty to listen to and also throw into a set when playing to a crowd who are up for a journey and experience quality music that is anything but generic.'

UK mainstay Denney steps up to Rekids, backed with remixes by Nic Fanciulli and Frankey & Sandrino.

Denney's name is synonymous with quality, with previous productions landing on labels such as 8bit Records, Crosstown Rebels, and Nothing Else Matters. For his latest release, Denney teams up with London-based actress and singer Charlotte Riby to craft ‘Catch The Heat’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids, backed with two killer remixes from Nic Fanciulli and Frankey & Sandrino.

Across 'Catch The Heat' Riby's vocals bring a touch of old-school class to a warm and soulful House track, steeped in New York history with fresh production flourishes that are sure to make it an anthem this summer and beyond.

On the flip is Nic Fanciulli’s remix, the Saved Records boss, who turns the original into a more techno-leaning cut with the vocals taking on a gospel quality over pulsing drums. German duo Frankey & Sandrino’s interpretation rounds out the release with a dramatic trip dripping with elegance that will have the dance floor in raptures.

All you can do is dance.
Malive and Linkage come together on „Pictures“ and create a sensitive dance floor moment for closed eyes and introspection.
And closing off the FTTF28 is Gorgin with „Principal Agent“, a dreamy and melodic send-off into the night.
