HEALING HEARTS

To celebrate the special date of 11/11. My group "DIVINE:TIMING" and I decided to go above and beyond, literally, and achieve the impossible. To throw a sunset rave in a little abandoned white house halfway up our hometown's famous flat-top mountain "Roque del Conde" in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. It is a genuine half-hour hike to the location, and I knew that if enough people made it, it would be a party impossible to ever forget.

This is an hour-long exert from the incredible night. May you feel through this mix the absolute immaculate vibes that were being transmitted in every single moment of this magical party. I hope one day you may join me to dance and celebrate this wonderful journey we call life. Filled with some of my favourite Afro-House songs in the game right now.

I had the pleasure of recording this live DJ set on the rooftop of a stunning hotel in La Caleta, Tenerife, as the sun dipped below the horizon and into the Atlantic Ocean. 

The set captureS a diverse blend of cultures, with a central focus on progressive afro house that evolved as the evening went on. 

I was accompanied by 'Gio Drummer', whose live drumming on the bongo and djembe added high energy and passion to an already vibrant set.

AFRO FUTURISM #6 (Afro House/Afro Tech)

The journey continues, but this time, we descend into the depths of Africa, exploring a darker side to the sound. 

This set was recorded in an ancient cave, I could feel its raw energy vibrating through the stone around me. A sacred space, untouched by time, where echoes of history whispered through the walls.

The deeper you go, the more the music becomes your guide. Afro Tech was the chosen path.. aggressive, raw, and unrelenting. Heavy drums echo through the cave, flickering synths cut through the darkness, and the energy shifts into something almost ritualistic. It’s a journey through shadows, where every beat pulls you further into the heart of Afrofuturism.

This mix is a journey through organic and afro house.. blending ancient rhythms, soulful vocals, and beautiful instruments from different parts of the world. Music with feeling... Music with story..

I recorded this set live at KONG by Monkey Beach as the sun was setting over the Atlantic Ocean.. and the energy in the air felt magical. The colours in the sky, the connection with the crowd.. it was divine.

At times I found myself completely lost in the music.. visualising being somewhere deep in the desert.. camels crossing the sand, fires burning, belly dancers moving to the sound of distant drums. There’s just something about the music from this part of the world.. the instruments, the rhythms.. they do something to me I can’t really explain. It takes me somewhere else.. like a memory from another life.. a place I feel I’ve been before.

Let the music take you there too.

MYSTIC ALCHEMY #5 (Afro/Arabian House)

Welcome to a new chapter of Afro Futurism.

In this chapter, we march into battle.

Dark, aggressive afro drops lead the way... heavy basslines shaking through your body... building into moments of powerful chanting that lift your spirit and fuel your movement. The energy rises.. and just keeps getting heavier.

This is a mix to feel in every part of you.
A space to release anger, to move through whatever you’re holding on to... to sweat it out, let it go, and come back stronger.

This isn’t a battle of violence... this is a battle of presence.
Of stepping fully into your energy. Into your body. Into your power.

This has to be one of my favourite mixes I’ve created so far.. it speaks directly to my soul, to the warrior within me. The afrotech bass cuts deep, while the progressive melodies carry you through it all, holding you in that higher space.

I recorded this barefoot on the beach... grounded, connected to the earth... as the sun was setting over the ocean. Every drop, every chant, every beat was felt before it was shared.

Welcome to Chapter 9 of Afro Futurism.

It’s been a minute since the last drop.. so I decided to treat you to an extra long set.. pure Afro Tech that just gets harder and harder as the set goes on. It's a proper journey.

This one was different. I tapped into something deeper. I entered some next level flow state and let the music take over my soul. 

I’ve been exploring the synthesis of Afro, electronic, progressive and Afro tech sounds.. and this one really brought it all together. Darker. Stronger. More intense.

I kept a hard Afro tech line throughout the entire mix..
I wanted to push the energy further this time. Something more powerful and hypnotic.

I recorded this one right on the beach.. barefoot, connected, with the sun setting in front of me and a powerful sound system vibrating through my body. The energy was unreal. And the deeper the sun dipped, the harder the music hit. Pure power.

Welcome to a new series called "Healing Hearts".

This mix came together by divine timing as I'm currently going through a lil rough patch in my life.. a breakup. And as anyone who's been through it knows, heartbreak isn’t one-sided. Both people feel it.. the sadness, the depression, the ache. It’s a lot to deal with, unless we transmute it.

I had to go to work.. so I played as usual. But I wasn’t in the mood for anything high-energy. I just followed how I felt.. emotional, low-frequency, melancholic. And soon I realised.. every track spoke the same language: love, heartbreak, letting go, healing.

So I leaned into it, and in that moment decided that every song would continue the vibe. This mix is for anyone who’s ever loved deeply, lost painfully, and is trying to move forward, one moment at a time. It starts off slow and gradually builds in tension and emotion.

If you’re going through something, I hope this holds you. 
Helps you breathe, feel, and heal.. even just a little.

And the fact that you’re here.. take it as a small sign.

The air is thicker. The energy sharper. The magic, heavier. Drums hit harder. The chants grow louder. Before you know it, a ritual is unfolding around you beneath the trees and stars.

The alchemist is forcing you work through sound.. fusing earth and spirit, past and future, movement and memory. You’re not just dancing now. You’re shedding. Confronting. Becoming.

MYSTIC ALCHEMY #6 (Organic Ethno/Arabian House)

It’s been a few weeks since I shared the first episode of Healing Hearts, and life, slowly but surely, is starting to shift. My heart is still tender, but I can feel it beginning to heal. 


This mix reflects a different chapter of the journey.. the next phase of the healing process, one of solitude, reflection, and what it feels like navigate the world after detaching from that love.


There’s a unique kind of loneliness that sets in after a breakup.. not just missing someone, but missing who you were with them. You start focusing on yourself, trying to move forward, piece by piece. And just when things feel like they’re settling, you see them again. That one last encounter.. that one last dance. Everything floods back. 


This mix follows that emotional arc. If you listen closely, the tracks speak a quiet story.. about longing, memory, growth, and release. I won’t say too much, because I want you to feel it for yourself. Each track was chosen with intention, to express what I sometimes struggle to put into words.


For anyone still finding their way through love and loss.. this one’s for you.

what a flow i been on recently.. so grateful <3

my heart is full and all the seeds ive been planting for years are starting to blossom

threw an insane villa party with 48 hours notice, whole world came thru

and after we kicked everyone out, it was just me and the homies left

so we popped open a bottle of tequila, cut some bday cake

and decided to play some music for the sunrise

the first track of this set was the first track i played in that moment to welcome a new day or even a new chapter.. 

but all i know, is this set could definitely heal a heart

Lex Laurence is quickly establishing himself as one of the most exciting new names in Afro House coming out of Spain.

A DJ, producer, singer, and songwriter, Lex brings a unique sound shaped by his diverse cultural background.. born to English and Russian parents while being raised in Tenerife, where European, Latin American, and African influences all unite. His music blends cultures from all over the world with progressive electronic afro house rhythms.

Known for his ability to read the room and guide the mood with precision, Lex has been described as a “vibe alchemist”, someone who doesn’t just play music, but transforms energy through it.

He is the co-creator of DIVINE:TIMING, an Afro House duo and event concept built on the idea that everything happens in the right place, at the right time. Using music as a vessel to spread the energy of the divine.
