Centre Stage is the third studio album by Barbadian Rapper & Producer, Lex Luwisi. Released on February 5th, 2020 by the newly developed Inveterate Records. Centre Stage mixes together Hip-Hop with elements of R&B, Trap & Soul. Centre Stage features guest appearances from Azaria Sealy, Khid Ca$h, StonedWithCupid & Orandé alongside collaborative production efforts from Sir Karni & iLoveLiam. It is executively produced by Lex himself alongside A&R Manager & fellow musician Dominic Broome. It serves as the final leg of the "College Kid Trilogy", a set of albums released by Lex during his years attending the Barbados Community College following the releases of College Kid (2017) & Recorded Memories (2019). Centre Stage takes on the format of a theatre production as the first, middle & final tracks respectively are called "Lights Up (Intro)", "Intermission" & "Curtain Call". With the artistic use of background noises like ground noise, mic stand bumps and the occasional natural reverb, Lex tries to evoke the feeling of a live performance to help drive the authenticity of "The Show".
