As an instrumental, “I’m A Drum Machine” was originally released by the Australian record label Neon in the summer of 2010 and it quickly built up a lot of hype during it’s initial promotional period the track was quickly picked up by the A&R team at Hed Kandi presents XS. To ensure the record will become a huge success over the forthcoming summer season and beyond, XS and Denzal Park teamed up with duo sensation Wizard Sleeve to add their vocals and create an insanely catchy and uplifting 2011 anthem.

In only two short years, Denzal Park, comprised of Australian house music stalwart Kam Denny and newcomer Paul Zala, has become one of the leading lights of the Australian club scene. Denzal Park has quickly become a prolific musical machine, belting out remixes for the likes of Dirty South, Full Intention, TV Rock, MYNC Project amongst numerous others. Having hit the top position in the Australian ARIA chart with their previous outings in “Filter Freak” and “Ascension” they are now spreading their wings and we’re certain that “I’m A Drum Machine (Step Up)” will accomplish greater achievements.

Wizard Sleeve are young rappers Lex One & Mike Beatz, who originally met in Miami and now live between the UK, Florida & New York. For the past year, they have been travelling the world, championing their inimitable blend of hip hop and electro mixed up with their love of eclectic sampling and often playfully outrageous lyrics.The duo featured on the biggest dance hit of 2010, Sidney Samson Feat. Wizard Sleeve “Riverside (Let’s Go!)” which peaked at number 2 in the official UK Singles Chart whilst gracing the number 1 spot in many countries worldwide. The band gained additional notoriety in the UK and abroad when they bum rushed Sky1’s BAFTA nominated reality show “Pineapple Dance Studios”. What began as a search for some hot backing dancers evolved into a show-stealing, headline slot in Louie Spence’s end-of-series live show! This saw the band performing in front of a sell out crowd at the O2 Arena - following a pitched battle with the ‘You Tube Divorcee’ herself, Tricia Walsh Smith.

The record’s remixes come in all shapes and sizes. Rising Dutch producer Ralvero and Newcastle’s finest Felix Leiter who both individually deliver two main room rework’s of the record whilst one of Kissy Sell Out’s highly rated producers, Brimmer, turns the record into a mash up frenzy! Rounding of the package is the brilliant Cyantific with his high tempo and seriously dirty beats that will have the Drum & Bass crowd jumping!

Wizard Sleeve are rappers Lex One & Mike Beatz who originally met in Miami and
have been travelling the world, championing their blend of hip hop, dance and electro

Wizard Sleeve officially broke onto the UK scene in 2009 after teaming up with breaks
super group Aquasky and releasing in August 2009, the huge underground anthem “Me

It wasn’t long before the track caught the ear of Dutch DJ and producer, Sidney Samson
who heard a bootleg of his club smash “Riverside” using the hooky verse and catchy
melody of the Wizard Sleeve rap. Lex & Mike then agreed to re-record for the official
release of a new version called, “Riverside – Let’s Go” which featured the guys in full.
Released via Ministry Of Sound at the beginning of 2010, the record stormed national
and regional radio and was A listed on Radio 1, 7 weeks upfront of release whilst also
becoming a huge You Tube hit : it has since reached just under 3 million views of
the official video featuring Wizard Sleeve. It also remained in the UK Official charts
for over 11 weeks and reached no 1 at it’s highest and has sold in excess of 500,000
records.

During the success of the record they have been touring the UK extensively, having
clocked up over 100 shows and overwhelming crowds and promoters alike with their
energy fueled live performances. It’s no surprise however, that their live shows are a
roller coaster of energy and entertainment as previously under their solo guises of Lex
One & Mike Beatz, they’ve rocked stages with the likes of Wu Tang, Mos Def, Talib
Kweli, Nas, KRS One, Kool Keith, Method Man & most recently chart topping UK
acts Example & Tinie Tempah.
Whilst touring they’ve hooked up and cut records with the likes of Diplo, Deadmau5,
Mason, Nick Thayer, Blokhe4d, N’Fa,DEV, Cutfather, Ant Miles (Ram Records guru),
Calvertron, Black Noise, Jodie Connor & Dawood and have been working on a ful
length album.
Their previous release “Get Down Tonight” on Southern Fried Records, which
sampled the no 13 US 1990’s hit, Skee-lo’s “I Wish” re-ignited the successful
partnership of Black Noise and Wizard Sleeve and cemented the guys a contract with
major live bookings agency, Primary Talent International which represents the likes of
Daft Punk, Mark Ronson, Dizzee Rascal, Roots Manuva, Basement Jaxx & Gwen
Stephani.
