Wouter Said : 'I made this EP while being inspired by some new and old grooves i like. The 90's String Organ Banger is very inspired by the days that I made 'powerhouse'. Really loved experimenting with M1 sounds over a ruff 909 beat. For the You Hot track obviously I linked up with Chicago Hustle for the vocals and made it into a cheeky yet techy roller. Chicago Hustle and myself known each other for over 20 years now, and been involved with each other in event's, music and all that jazz. We both have a huge love for the more ghetto and powerful side of house. So it was an absolute no brainer to link up together for Bunka Ball (our fav label in the harder house genre).'

About Wouter S:
Wouter S has chosen his path for the future, and it's one of distinctiveness.

The Kompai label owner, producer and dj has been marking his place in the Dutch scene with confident energy over the last decade. This bold vibe got him to play lots of shows at Thuishaven, Straf_Werk, Amsterdam Open Air, Mysteryland, Loveland Festival, Rotterdamse Rave, Soenda Festival, Toffler festival and he did numerous support acts for major artists ranging from DJ EZ to Fatboy Slim to Dave Clarke. Also abroad Wouter has been invited by stellar clubs like Fuse Brussels, Motion Bristol, Hangar Dublin and Sisyphos Berlin to name a few. This manifests how diverse Wouter is as an artist, as he doesn't like to be labelled one thing or another.
Wouter's production life has been on the move as well, with well recognized releases on labels like Unknown to the Unknown, Waze & Odyssey's Street Tracks, Kerri Chandler's infamous Madhouse Records, Slapfunk Records, Shadow Child's Food Music, Deep Dimension's Gen-X and of course his very own Kompai label, just to name a few.
Wouter knows how to read and charm his crowds whether it's with House, Techno or Bass records. And due to this diverse range of music, when Wouter is on a line up, you're guaranteed of a so called sure shot.

Listening to MADMADMAD can be delightfully disorienting, and that quality extends to the
band’s collagist and homemade visual art that accompanies their music. “History goes in cycles,
and we feel there’s a correlation with what happened a century ago, when everything was so
chaotic and people had a hard time making sense of what was going on in the world,” Benji
explains while describing how the band take cues from the 20th century’s Dadaist movement. “It feels like we’re at that moment again—where it’s quite hard to make sense of everything with so much information every day. There was quite a lot of confusion back then after the first world
war and a global pandemic, and the response of the arts was to reflect the nonsensical place
the world was at. We feel heavily influenced by that, so that’s what we put in our music and
visuals.”
