Hi! I've been working on this cover along with the very talented Felinah for just over 8 months, and this is a cover I'm quite proud of. 
We just shot a music video for it too, and it's under production! Keep an eye out :]

Do you recall, from not long ago, that guy you back in grade school? You don't really talk to him anymore, but you used to be closer than the Chainsmokers and Halsey. You think about the good times you had, and mourn that days will never be the same. But that's normal; after all, you learned in psych class about the basic human needs of safety, love and belonging. 
You think about the friendships that came later, and can't help but feel that even though you've told yourself you don't need to have friends, that's just not an accurate evaluation. You piece together the pieces of historical evidence and realize that when you were without friends, you were without purpose and motivation.
You wonder if you're not so different from everyone else. If you need friends this much, how can someone else live without a friend: a pillar that holds you up when you're limping, a wingman who shares your laughs and highs (and sometimes the flu), and a shoulder to lean on when you're down. 
See, the thing is, it doesn't matter who you are, you need friends to be by your side, you need someone to share in your sadness, and you need to know that you have someone to call w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶l̶o̶s̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶p̶a̶s̶s̶p̶o̶r̶t̶ in your dire times.
Whether we are fighters in a battlefield or a romantic in a restaurant, all we need is someone to lean on.
