But before the two real fighters arrived, three others had a very unlucky streak. Firestar hissed in Shizuku's grasp as he smelled something very wrong, squirming uncomfortably and then yowling as it got worse. 

Thomas and Shizuku froze as they felt a hand on their shoulders, simply ushering them along. Of course, they recognized the hands, but were too afraid to speak.

"Shh. Do not be afraid. I simply want to show you something wonderful."

The four enter the bear's office. Silence. Then... screaming. Painful, wet screaming.

When the door is kicked down later by the others, hunting down the Baron, the room's walls are painted a sickening red, befitting of the bear's coat.
