A man once — now a mindless drone,
He talks in screams and walks alone.

His eyes still move, but there's no light,
Just blood-slick walls and flickering fright.
A servant now — to some machine,
That whispers love in endless screens.

He saw the end before it came,
Pulled out his eyes, forgot his name.
WAU called it mercy, called it grace —
But it hollowed him out and erased his face.

Akers walks — but Akers died.
What’s left is meat the WAU can guide.
He screams in pulses, he crawls in code,
A puppet soul in a fractured mode.

I hear him coming, feel him near,
Dragging memories soaked in fear.

Theta weeps in buzzing lights,
His voice in vents, his will in bytes.
Not alive, but never dead,
A glitch in pain, a path we dread.

He loved the WAU — or said he did,
Fed it bodies, fed it his skin.
Said it showed him how to live —
But it only takes what you can give.

He wrote a letter.
Said he saw the truth.
Said the WAU would save us.
Said the flesh was just the shell.
