“Yo! I'm Joshua Nakatani from Renton, Washington here with my second bass house inspired mix. I'm a huge fan of hype and funky house and lately I've been a big fan of night bass. In my free time I like to indoor rock climb in Seattle, eat good food, rave, and have fun doing whatever with friends. I got into mixing in November thanks to some LGCY media core members I'm friends with and I'm super hyped to contribute a mix of my own to LGCY FM!”

“This mix brings a lot of bass house together drawing inspiration from the styles of JOYRYDE, knock2, AC Slater, and Nitti Gritti. I'm really attracted to wavy basslines and drops that make you wanna jump. Part TWO of our collaboration project :,) 

I looked at the FIRST day that part ONE was created, it was January 20, 2022. We didn't release Part ONE until December of 2022 because after we made it we made part TWO right after on the same session we just wrapped up part one. We had such a momentum of creativity and energy to share with these genres and edits, we had to. 

It has been so freakin' fun making these wtih Alex/HOTL!NE and really making something different not knowing how people will like it or react since it's not the mainstream. 

WE EVEN PLAYED A SET ON JANUARY 6 THAT WAS THE ENERGY OF PART ONE & TWO TOGETHER, LIVE. LIKE WHAT IS LIFE !! THE CROWD LOVED IT AND it was the most fun i had on stage ever, we felt like idols it was crazy haha.

The day we started part 2 was Sept 28, 2022. Finally releasing it today, March 8, 2023. Thank yall for giving us YOUR time and open ears to listen to this!! TRULY MEANS SO MUCH <3

Hello! I'm back with another addition to my mix series Cosmopolitan! This mix contains a range of hard/dark trap and drum & bass. I had a lot of fun making this mix as I collected a lot of my inspiration from my favorite sets during EDC, Hard Summer & Second Sky such as REAPER, JAWNS and Virtual Self b2b G Jones.

AHHHHHH!!! Got to open for one of my favorite artists ever CHRIS LORENZO at The Showbox Seattle! This was a crazy opportunity for me. The show was sold out and Chris Lorenzo called me up to do a surprise B2B at the end! Incredibly grateful for opportunities like this and I hope there will be more in 2023 for me and for LGCY.
