An orchestral adaptation of the great Arrietty's Song by Cécile Corbel and Simon Caby, featured in the great Studio Ghibli film 借りぐらしのアリエッティ (Karigurashi no Arrietty).

It's only an orchestration and adaptation work. I didn't choose the best sounds in my banks as its final aim wasn't to be heard as a soundfile but to be played by an orchestra (and it was). I just had two or three tracks for each instrument : long and short notes (and pizzicato for strings section). What you're hearing is only a "preview version".

I do not own any right on this song. Hope you'll enjoy !

Cécile Corbel - Arrietty's Song (orchestral version)

An orchestral medley of a few songs from the original soundtrack of Final Fantasy X, by Nobuo Uematsu and Masashi Hamauzu. Here is the tracklist :

III) The Time of Judgement
IV) People of the North Pole
V) The Final Battle
VI) Rikku's Theme
VII) Final Fantasy Theme

I know, I didn't orchestrate To Zanarkand. I was told about it many times and the answer remains the same : I really wanted to focus on relatively less known themes. All the more, to my ears To Zanarkand is already a simple, yet perfect piece. As I told to some of the musicians I worked with on this medley, I didn't feel like alterating it by juxtaposing my orchestral vision to it. I really wanted to choose pieces I could add something to...

...except for the seven part, which is not, so to speak, part of the FFX OST. But I felt that it sounded amazing as a conclusion to this medley (and it was in the same key as Rikku's Theme, what a surprise !). It is almost exactly the same version that you can hear on the Final Fantasy Concert 20020220, as I transcribed it.

I didn't made this medley using music sheets. Everything's been transcribed by ear.
