A lovely woman named Allison Koffler passed away January 14th, 2014 from ovarian cancer. She was my favorite teacher, even though one time she made fun of me for falling asleep in class freshman year. She said to me "There's time enough for the eternal rest" and asked me if I knew what the quote meant. I felt my friend Koff-daddy then, and I feel it even more now. I wrote this song the day after she passed, balling my fucking eyes out between lines. 

Rest easy, Allison. You and your fight changed my life.
