Today (15.12.2023) is the 62nd birthday of Nick Beggs, former bassist and singer of the famous eighties-band kajagoogoo.
Nick is a fantastic bassplayer and great artist in general. Nowadays he tours with Howard Jones and Steve Wilson to name a few and also is collaborating in several band projects.

I did this cover a while ago but decided to release it here today on behalf of his birthday.
So give it up for Nick Beggs! 👏 Cheers and happy birthday! 🎁🥂🍻

„Singende Glocken“  (07.01.2024 )

Eine Orgel-Suite für Chor und Kirchenorgel.

Wenn die Kirchenglocken langsam ausklingen, kommt es zu einem zarten Nachklang.
Ein Chor stimmt in dieses Echo ein und beginnt rhythmisch die Glocken zu imitieren. 

Dies hat mich zu dieser andächtigen Orgel Suite inspiriert.
Es ist vielleicht keine typische Orgelmusik in einem sakralen Kontext. 
Dennoch hat dieses moderne Orgelwerk eine charakterlich spirituelle Klangnuance.
Versucht dieser Orgel Suite aufmerksam mit einem Kopfhörer zu hören.

“Singing Bells” (07.01.2024)

An organ suite for choir and church organ.

As the church bells slowly ring out, there is a delicate echo.
A choir joins in this echo and begins to rhythmically imitate the bells.

This inspired me to create this devotional organ suite.
It may not be typical organ music in a sacred context.
Nevertheless, this modern organ work has a characteristically spiritual nuance of sound.
Try listening to this organ suite carefully with headphones.

We have compiled the best from the album "Sprich Deutsch oder Stirb" and the EP "Headbanger" from 2008 to 2010. There are three unreleased tracks, a new remix, and everything newly remastered, a total of 22 tracks plus instrumentals. Featured artists include Killa Hakan, Crak, Alaturka Mavzer, Dissput, and Boba Fettt. The themes are still politically relevant, and we were one of the first groups in Germany to create a new kind of hardcore hip-hop with hard, partly electronic beats.


Das Progressive Outro

Does anyone remember this one?  Dan Fogelberg said if he could write only one song, this would be it.  A tribute to his father, a band director at Bradley University.  Released in 1981 and reached #9 on the Billboard.   
Dan passed away in 2007.  A few years ago I finally learned how to finger pick it enough to get by.  Always loved this one, just picking and singing.
