Lnrdcroy is a DJ and producer from Canada. Who has released a beautiful album on 1080p, then he put some music on L.P.C. , Forbidden Planet, Unthank, Firecracker Recordings and Mood Hut. At the moment he is working on new EPs, stay tuned!

About the mix:

 When I was recording, it was raining heavily outside but the sky was a golden-grey colour as the sun kept breaking through the clouds. A very beautiful light. I read that this is called a sunshower but many folk traditions around the world share strikingly similar metaphors for it: "a jackal's wedding", "foxes' wedding" "devil's bride, "a wolf's marriage", etc. Curious!

Expect a mix of ambient techno and IDM sounds <3

“Someday My Prince Will Come” is a classic song from Disney’s first full‑length animated feature, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The music was composed by Frank Churchill with lyrics by Larry Morey, and the song was first released in 1937. Sung in the film by Adriana Caselotti (the voice of Snow White), it later became a beloved jazz standard, famously recorded by artists such as Miles Davis and Bill Evans.

This recording is part of my Piano playlist, which explores songs from the early 1900s and the “between the wars” era and its surrounding decades. Each track is arranged as intimate solo piano—stripped of orchestration and vocals to focus on melody, harmony, and atmosphere. It is music for quiet listening, reflection, study, or late‑night moments.

In my interpretation of “Someday My Prince Will Come,” I bring out both sides of the song: the innocent fairytale hope from the original film and the deeper, more harmonically rich feeling that later jazz versions revealed.

1.) Melody & phrasing
The melody is treated as a clear, singing line, as if Snow White were still performing it. I use gentle rubato and small pauses before important notes, to suggest a mixture of longing, hope, and daydreaming. Phrases are allowed to breathe, with slight dynamic swells that follow the natural rise and fall of the tune.

2.) Harmony & piano texture
Harmonically, I respect the original Disney song while also nodding to the jazz tradition that grew around it. Soft reharmonizations, added 9ths, 6ths, and inner counter‑melodies give the piece a more modern color without losing its fairytale core. The left hand alternates between simple broken chords and more flowing arpeggios, while the right hand carries the tune like a voice. The piano sound is intimate and close, as if heard in a small room rather than a large hall.

3.) Mood & usage
This version balances sweetness and sophistication: it feels both like a lullaby from a 1930s animated film and a reflective ballad from the golden age of jazz. It works well as calm background music for reading, studying, or relaxing, but it also rewards focused listening if you want to follow its harmonic turns and dynamic nuances. Placed within the “between the wars” theme, it connects cinema history, early animation, and later jazz culture in one solo piano moment.

The visions slowly turning into fractals whilst exploring the unknown. These diffracted sights are nothing but your inner reflections, they are within all of us it just depends how far you can look or see. The same process occurs whilst listening to sound, be it here or anywhere else. Listen carefully and try hearing the music within. Whether you are here or there the road to bliss is never too far.

Đăng-Vũ Đặng is a Dutch born Vietnamese multi-disciplinary artist based in Amsterdam, the
city that has greatly influenced his musical journey for the past two decades: from the hip
hop dance scene in his teens to the music and club scene in the latter half of his life.
Privately organized deep listening sessions would spark his interest in digging for music with the potential to open the mind and body to transcendental states; a never-ending and ever-
evolving quest that organically led him to mix behind the decks as BuruN ĐăngA, a name that refers to the hypnotic compound extracted from the highly psychoactive plants Brugmansia suaveolens and Datura
stramonium whose distinct flowers are known as angel’s- and devil’s trumpets; flowers
hinting towards his selections: from heavenly ethereal ambient to deep, dark, trippy,
hypnotic dance and trance inducing music.

As some of you may know, BuruN ĐăngA is twin brothers with Tourguide. I met them both on the streets of Tokyo, and since he speaks fluent Japanese, we often talked about Vietnam in English and Japanese afterwards. His deep love for partying and Vietnam is evident in his mix, which, while perhaps a different approach than Tourguide's, reminded me of what it feels like to be at a rave deep in the mountains of Japan.(Teruu)
