Reflection

I wrote this song just after getting back home after a year in Bozeman, MT. A couple months later I was set to begin my next adventure in Amsterdam.

The start of the song is about dreaming of being back in Montana and despite it not being quite the same as actually being there, it's still pretty damn good because I know I have another adventure to embark upon. Then I touch upon other dreams that flicker through my mind such as the first time I drove my dads speedboat, just me and my ex.

The ending is of me waking up to realise that life is better still due to the dreams I had the night before.

Liam McGenity, aged 24, is an English singer-songwriter hailing from the small northern town of Widnes: just down the road from Liverpool. Well-travelled but not so well-mannered (depending on the occasion); he has lived in China, Montana and Amsterdam and has recently moved to Richmond, Virginia, to record his first LP Album. Liam tells stories of real-life experiences through the medium of song in an interesting and often humorous or hard-hitting way.

Having already coded his own website, released his EP, obtained a business degree, and now trying his hand at producing his own music whilst setting up his own record label, Liam is on a one man mission to spread his music to the masses like butter on bread.
