Intercept welcomes 'De School' regular Tsepo back to the label with his signature percussive club sound. After 2023's 'Something Bubbly / There You Go' 'Basic Grooves' is his most stripped-back work yet. HEHE is the first of an EP that features two tracks with a distinctive flow, bringing a sense of playfulness and fun. Inspired by a wide range of genres, both songs have been doing their rounds in clubs, and we're sure this is just the start of something special. We're happy to have Jan back with another magnificent EP.

Sansouni, known for prior releases on Carista's label United Identities as well as Martyn's label 3024, now teams up with Intercept for a 6-track EP moving between ambient, electronica, gabber, and fast-paced piano house. It’s rare to encounter a talent with such a diverse sonic palette, but Sansouni delivers just that. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant club music scene and the depths of experimental electronica, Sansouni has masterfully blended these worlds into a seamless six-track journey. Each piece flows effortlessly, showcasing his unique ability to merge contrasting genres into a cohesive listening experience.

Milan-based Piezo (@piezopz) sits at the heart of the current club sounds. He has long had an obsession with sound system music and that defines what he does today: mutant and beguiling club tracks with meticulous sound design and thrilling energy, heavy low ends and a real dose of UK influence from d&b to garage, grime and techno. He kicked off the year by dropping his genre-busting Ecstatic Nostalgia EP on our Dekmantel-UFO sub-label and now returns with a podcast that is just as fresh.

It's a futuristic mix of bleeping machines and lurching rhythms with bright synth designs and deep space ambience. Over the course of 90 minutes, the pace picks up and you're whisked along a variety of rhythms from broken to dubby, head spinning to minimal. It feels utterly spontaneous but is also a fully coherent mix from this restless innovator.
