Lacrimosa - Kitchen Teaser

This track tells a story and sadly, one that is real. A clash of culture, religion, history and borders that has led to a terrible war in which all will -somehow- lose. 

The story is structured in a very simple way: starting by Azerbaijan's exposé in 4/4 (led by the Zurna)it is then followed by Armenia's(in 3/4 and led by the Duduk) and finalised with a polyrhythmic battle in which both time signatures coexist - the music is also fighting. Furthermore, I have combined traditional music from the South Caucasus with electroacoustic music (or sound design). 

In conclusion, a rough musical journey best experienced with your eyes closed.
