I see techno as life: too vast to be contained in one phrase, too diverse to be bounded by one genre

There’s too many layers within it that drifts you away that i'm obsessed with, and so i want to translate this obsession into an audible mixtape series that reflects my rendition of what techno means to me

The result is 5 volumes mixtape, entitled "Techno Drift"
This is the first volume

Techno Drift >> Vol. 1 [Groove]

Usually if we think or hear the wording: "Hard Techno", we might immediately imagine 150-160 BPM range, very minimal groove and hard-hitting kicks only

I simply wanted to challenge that stereotypical idea in this mix and showcase that hard Techno sound can be achieved without necessarily exceeding >140 BPM ;-)

We hold great deal of sentiment and attach our emotions to memories from previous experiences we had at certain places and times of our lives.

Personally, i hold many deep memories rooted from the underground techno scenes in Amsterdam's Radion, Rotterdam's Perron and Berlin's Berghain. 

Throughout mixing this third volume, i had a strong hunch to encapsulate all those experienced raw emotions in an audible soundtrack that gradually drifts you into the deep walls of hypnotic techno.
