I'm very proud of this song, it took a while to write and get just the way I wanted  it, result I think is beautiful. This parallel frames Mo's experience not as a new creation, but as the arduous return of a suppressed, powerful, and authentic self, smashing the chains of expectation imposed by family, society, and biology.
