Sound-tracking her unerring dedication to absorbing, selecting, making, living and breathing dance music and club culture around the world, Classic Music Company presents Honey Dijon’s debut artist album ‘The Best of Both Worlds’. Teaming up on singles with Charles McCloud for the unapologetic, hedonist and achingly cool ‘Personal Slave’, with Cakes da Killa on the Hip House enthused ‘Catch The Beat’ and Sam Sparro on classic dance track update ‘Look Ahead’, Both Worlds struts elegantly through Honey’s tough "Berlin-meets-New York" style. And the list of exceptional collaborators continues. Exclusive album material includes featured vocals from progressive New York artist Nomi Ruiz, as well as Joi Cardwell and Shaun J. Wright. Remastered versions of ‘Burn’ and ‘Thunda’ are included too, plus a brand new mix of the incredible ‘Houze’ featuring Seven Davis Jr.

Honey describes the concept of the album in her own words: “The album is a personal statement. It was about taking these different worlds and combining them to make something new. The Best Of Both Worlds was a pun that I wanted to take, empower and own.”

Anjunadeep, the label that introduced Lane 8, Dusky, Yotto, Cubicolor, Ben Böhmer and Eli & Fur to the world, have announced a new compilation series: ‘Reflections’. Marking the label’s 500th release, ‘Reflections Vol. 1’ is a collection of downtempo and ambient electronica from label stars like Yotto and Lane 8, breakout talent like Qrion and Nox Vahn and new faces like PBSR, Kitput and Vár Sofandi. 

Label boss James Grant explains: “electronica and chillout were what first got me into electronic music and so it’s a very natural evolution for Anjunadeep to be expanding further in that direction via this new series.”

The compilation’s first single, ‘It’s All Over’, is from Sapporo-born, San Francisco-based producer Qrion. Touted as one of the world’s best up-and-coming artists by Mixmag, she’s landed major support slots for the likes of deadmau5, Tourist, and Porter Robinson. An eclectic selector and producer, ambient music has always been one of her passions. ‘It’s All Over’ is out now. 

‘Reflections Vol. 1’ also features an exclusive, piano-led piece from Yotto (‘Maggio’), the long-awaited full release of two Anjunadeep rarities (Lane 8’s ‘Apes & Children’ and Croquet Club’s ‘Slow Mo’) and label debuts from Germany’s Kitput, London’s PBSR and Finland’s Vár Sofandi.

Ivor Novello Award-winner and Mercury, Grammy, and BRIT-nominated artist Lianne La Havas unveils her new single ‘Disarray.’ The track showcases a blend of emotional depth and striking vocal delivery, set against sparse, ethereal finger-plucked electric guitar —a signature of La Havas’ style.
