the hours grew long

All the man could see when he looked up

the man knew something was amiss
he couldn’t tell how he just knew that he did.
the fear that pulsed through his every vein and capillary was undeniable
the power he felt that electrified the air
was indisputable

There were FORCES at work here he could hardly understand.

but as the man looked up
in those eyes he could see no love
in that voice he could hear no hope
here in this place he could sense no truth

THIS WAS A TRICK!

It's not enough
