Jumeaux is a songwriting/recording duo that began making music to support the New York Times bestselling series, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. One in Paris and one in Los Angeles, Libby Lavella & Antonio Gambale are both originally from Australia. Carry My Voice was the first release in the series. Carry My Voice is Perenelle's theme song. In writing CARRY MY VOICE, we contemplated loss. We truly believe that you do not know how much you love someone until you either lose them or at least faced with the prospect of losing them.  In Perenelle and Flamel’s case, hundreds of years of being with the same person…I don’t think that that is easy to comprehend.  The idea of our lives being like pages in a book felt like a powerful image with the Flamels being booksellers, not to mention the central drama of the whole story being about guarding the most important book ever written.  So this simple metaphor of someone “writing my words” took on broader dimensions that resonates with grand themes in the book, while also remaining just a beautiful, simple sentiment between two people.

Roy Orbison's Crying from my Live At Largo album. Tim Young is playing guitar. This is was an impromptu song that we decided to do a minute before the start of the show. It turned out alright.

Here's a song I wrote called I Live In Hope from Sometime In Morning. I'm quite proud of the vocal arrangement and the singers that sang it. This song features on backing vocals Joan Jones, Shelly O'Neill, Selwyn, Sharon and Ro Chambeaux.
