Brief:

1. First appearance of lead character and leitmotiv - neutral scene. Setting – modelling agency.

Brief:

3.	The scene opens in a dilapidated job centre. A young scruffily dressed man is called forward to the desk of an adviser and is presented with a form. The two men talk as the camera pulls back to reveal a full waiting room.
•	Time- 1976, winter (day)
•	Place- North East England
•	Setting- docu-drama. The film (small budget) recounts the story of one coal mine closure in Northumberland, focusing on the perspective of the miners and their families.
