This was fun to make. I experimented with the MIDI by programming the piano roll. The distorted guitar lead type sound was programmed on the piano roll so the image looks like planes flying

It is a fun challenge to get an authentic orchestral sound without spending a small fortune. I made this on an iPad and I think this is a track I would like to revisit using live samples

After DJ Sophie Xeon, a pioneer of the hyper pop genre, who tragically died recently after falling from a roof while star-gazing. 
I wanted to follow something like the iterative process that Sophie used when she built up her tracks on the Elektron Monomachine. Since I sold my monomachine (I had difficulty with the machine’s menu Logic and menu diving) I have used ipad synthesisers. I built up the main keyboard riff by playing, freezing the audio, adding new elements and FX, freezing the audio again and again. Vox samples from Loopmasters and Korg, chopped in the sampler Gadgets on iPad.

I try to tell a story with my music. In this track I try to capture the emotions of crossing a high rope bridge as well as the physical motions crossing of that bridge. it is something you need a little courage to do but with a little fear also comes excitement. Like all adventures, of course, it is more fun to share it with a friend 🫂

I have a plan that this will have some cheerful lyrics encouraging people to clap their hands, do the shuffle dance and be happy 😃 
If I could sing well I would have added some vocals but I can’t carry a tune so it would sound bad and make people sad instead lol 😂 
At some point, if I can find someone to sing along like Pharrel, I will record them and release an update!
